Just put me out to pasture LOL.Īnyhow, while I just pick myself up off the floor, dust myself off and wonder what I’m going to do with myself – I’m not really worried about that yet with my youngest two still living at home including the rambunctious as ever Oaky, my daughter’s dog. My youngest is embarking on a college course, my middle one is at University and my eldest is starting work! Yup, true old-timer here now. Except for this year, I have no children at school! It makes me feel so old LOL. And you can be notified when I post by signing up for emails at the top left of my blog.September, really? I can’t believe this year is flying by so quickly! Of course, currently, we are only in the middle of August, but still, it is that back to school time here in Scotland. I'll be coming back with a five ways post using this kit later this week, so come visit. These cards are definitely not my usual style - I didn't even watercolor anything or use my glitter pens! But I wanted to try something new and different. I used Tonic Nuvo Drops in Crystal and Ebony to finish it. I then added a banner die-cut out of white cardstock and stamped the sentiment with black ink. This time I used 11 colors for each stripe so I got to extend my rainbow, but still no shading - very simple coloring! I stamped the heart rainbow images with black ink and colored them in with Copic markers. This card was done the same exact way - I started with a stitched rectangle full card size die-cut from Neenah white cardstock. I then added some Tonic Nuvo Drops in Ebony Black and White. I stamped it it black ink on white cardstock to keep the focus on the rainbows. I think this banner came from the MFT Tag Builder die set. Next, I added a banner with the Happy Birthday stamp on it. I colored in the rainbow with six colors of Copics - I even kept each one color and didn't add shading (ugh so hard to do!) so they were more simple. I then stamped the rainbow on it with black ink multiple times. ![]() My daughters said these look like Gay Pride cards - so if that's your thing, this kit might be for you! I started with a stitched rectangle die-cut from Neenah white cardstock. They are breaking my bank over here! Here are the card details: I even have a few more colors on the way to me from Simon. I also had to use my Tonic Nuvo Drops because I'm seriously addicted. titles in the Smile contemporaries series SEE Current list under UNITED CARD CO. See, very simple for me, right? And almost one layer - I had to add a sentiment on a banner which technically makes them two layers. Simon says you should have a happy birthday. So I did some rainbow random stamping and colored them in with Copics - very simple! I wanted to keep them simple and channel May Sukyong Park's style of one layer cards. This stamp set made me think of rainbows of course, so I decided to go with a rainbow theme for my cards. I also still have a post ready using an Encouraging Words stencil five ways - much blogging to do this week! Here is an image of the Simon Says Stamp September 2017 kit:Īnd here is an image of my favorite part of the kit, the Best Ever stamp set (which is also sold alone): I have only made 2 cards today! I want to use this kit/stamp set for a "one stamp, five ways" post as it is just so full and cute and fun and. This one is GORGEOUS! I must start with an apology (although that breaks all the public speaking lessons I've ever learned, but this isn't speaking really is it?!?!?!).
